Composition

This picture of my dog really shows asymmetrical balance, since the main subject of the photo is off-centered and unbalanced. The photo is off proportion as well because more than half of the photo shows the pattern of the chair, and only a small part shows the face of the dog.

This photo was taken on a trail near my house. It is a good example of movement because your eye follows the path of the trail and you view the trees along the trail in the same way. This image also shows asymmetrical balance because if you are looking along the trail, there are more trees on the right side, than there are on the left. The repetition of clouds and trees help to create unity and rhythm in the photograph.

This is one of those pictures that make you realize how beautiful the world is :) I believe this shows movement because the viewer's eyes travel throughout the photo, following the gradient of the sunset. This also shows variety because it incorporates many different colors and shades, that help to make the sunset so vibrant.

Even though this photo is centered, I think it has good symmetrical balance since it is slightly zoomed to see the details of the flower. This photo also shows unity because the elements of the photo work together to create a photo that looks completed and unified.
